The 34th Annual
Legislative Conference, hosted by
the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, kicks
off this week in Washington, DC from September 8-
11. Frédéric will be performing at several events
including a reception for Rep. Kendrick Meek (FL),
Rep. James Clyburn and Rep. Melvin Watts' Carolina
Party at the Library of Congress, and the VIP
reception for the CBCF Gala. George Duke and
Regina Bella will perform at the Gala.

| Frédéric Yonnet Joins Marcus Johnson and Keter Betts to Inaugurate Silver Spring's Jazz Festival |

Frédéric performs this Saturday, September 11 as part
of the first annual Silver Spring Jazz Festival on the new
Silver Plaza in Downtown Silver Spring. The day long inaugural
festival, which runs from 4-10pm features Silver Spring's
own legendary bassist, Keter Betts, and pianist/keyboardist
Marcus Johnson. Other artists performing include vocalist
Alyson Williams, Nick Colionne on sax, and Project Natale.
This concert is free and open to the public.
Frédéric Yonnet is scheduled to perform from 5- 5:40pm
and will be accompanied by Alejandro Lucini on drum, Vince
Evans on keys, Alvin White on guitar and Tony Hinton, bass.
Frédéric heads offs to the DC Convention Center immediately
after the performance, however, his CD's will be available
at Borders Books and Music Stores in Silver Spring,
MD and downtown Washington,DC.
