Reed My Lips wins WAMMIE for Best Urban Contemporary Album

Congratulations to Frédéric Yonnet and his team of phenomenal musicians for making Reed My Lips worth talking about!

The Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) recognized Frederic Yonnet‘s current project, Reed My Lips with a 2011 Wammie Award in the category of “Best Urban Contemporary Album.” Ironically, the album — a compilation of the rough cuts and ultimately the final mix– only includes “rough cuts” at this point. Reed My Lips: The Final Mix, will release later this year. “I hope this recognition is an indicator of what is to come with this project,” said Yonnet. “If Reed My Lips can win a Wammie before it’s even finished, I’m hoping it will be Grammy-worthy once it’s complete.”Reed My Lips: The Rough Cut features:
